Handmade & Sewn with care
Bobbins & Stitch is a one-person studio in Wiltshire, making fabric gifts and home comforts a few at a time — hair towels, Kindle covers, face cloths, bookmarks and more — cut, sewn, pressed and packed by hand.
Everything is made in small batches rather than production runs. That means a fabric sometimes runs out and doesn't come back, and it means no two pieces are quite identical — the print falls differently on every cut.
Fabrics are chosen just a few at a time, natural fibres picked for how they behave after a few washes rather than how they photograph. Seams are finished properly on the inside, where nobody looks, because that's the part that decides whether something lasts.
Because each piece is sewn individually, a different fabric or a different size is usually possible — it's the same amount of work either way. If you've seen something in the shop and want it in another colourway, please just ask.
Items that are already made up will be wrapped and posted within two working days. If there is something you would like made to order, please use the contact me form. We can discuss the requirements, and I can then give you a realistic idea of the time it will take to make and post it out to you.
